Richie Hawtin and Enter.Sake
Earlier this year, I wrote about Richie Hawtin, who is a DJ and lover of sake.
He has a project he calls Enter.Sake which is an interesting mix of music and sake in the interest of turning young people on to great sake "in the club".
His website doesn't have too much information, but what I gather is he is, or was, exporting and re-branding sake under his own private label. Its not clear really if he sells sake in its original bottles in addition to that.
There a recent interview with him above that my friend shared with me, and another cool video below. It is nice to see Fujioka-san of Sookuu dancing in this video. We met him this past winter at his wonderful brewery in Fushimi.
